I've usually seen this song used in the context of having to sing it in
front of everyone in order to get a lost item returned. While some scouts
may think it is humorous, it is quite embarassing to others. Such
"punishments" are inappropriate and should not be allowed in summer camp.
I don't think "swishing" your tail is the problem -- the context may be!!

Kids view:

Back in 1988, our Troop participated in a local camporee. That night the
squirrling began. "Who lost xxxx, if you want it back you need to squirrl.

Well, our Troop (about 50 kids) did an about-face. The cards turned and it was
the adults who suddently found themselves very embarrassed.
