Well... under the topic of NOAC, and getting together there...
I'm afraid our whole Council contingent (Miwok Lodge, 439 Santa Clara
County Council) has been withdrawn from NOAC.
Seems we had several problems with both fundraising, and adult attendance.
The planned NOAC patch fundraiser was delayed and then there were problems
with the patch vendor... several adults dropped out due to funding and work
commitment problems, and several youth dropped out dur to summer conflicts.
The remaining members who were wanting to go couldn't pull it all
together... So, please pull all Lodge 439 names off of the NOAC list for
Scouts-L and other assorted events at NOAC, and we all hope to make it again
the next time.
My son and I will be there with you all in spirit at least.
