Re: 1994 NOAC Internet Meeting

John
here is the last messgae i reveived:

From: "Settummanque, the blackeagle" <waltoml@WKUVX1.WKU.EDU>
Subject: National OA "Internet Lodge" Meeting

(I am forwarding this from Rec.Scouting for consideration by those going to
the National Order of the Arrow Meeting this summer. We've talked about
the possibility of us all meeting each other at the National OA meeting and
I believe Dr. Steve (Myers) was keeping a list of folks that were planning on
going (and posting it each month or so here)...while we don't conduct
business like those over in Rec.Scouting do, I thought that perhaps we *might*
consider meeting those from the "other sides" during the National Meeting.

The date is July 31st, after the opening show. This may or may not be an
ideal time...but we can talk about it, even pull Tim in on giving us some
other "open times" in which we could all meet. Hey! Who knows!)

I hereby propose that we have the first meeting of the Electronic
Lodge on July 31st, immediately following the opening show at NOAC '94.
Membership in the Electronic Lodge is automatic for any member of the
Order of the Arrow who has access to the Internet, Prodigy, or any of the
other computer networks.

If the rumors are correct, the opening show will be Sunday evening,
July 31st, in the Elliott Hall of Music. Just north-east of the Hall of
Music is Hovde Hall (these two buildings are connected by a pedestrian bridge)
North-east of Hove Hall is the Engineering Mall, a large greenspace with
a fountain resembling a three-story washing machine agitator. If the
weather is good, let's assemble on the north-east side of the fountain.
If the weather is foul, let's gather under the center stair in the lower
lobby of the Hall of Music.
