Re: PARENTAL TRUST

I feel there may be some over reaction to this instrinsic parental trust.
When our Scouts named our Troop "The Vertical Edge," I found every new parent
asking many more questions than when we were just Troop 99. I found that most
parents are very concerned about who takes care of their children, as well as
where and what they are doing. This incident reminded me of the quiet trust
that most Americans have for the Boy Scouts of America. Many parents just drop
off their kids to Troop leaders because, in their mind, they have been blessed
by a reputable organization. Not much different than the local school. After
all, how many parents take their kids to school on day one and interview each
and every teacher?
Let's keep that trust going.
