Regarding the modified summer camp patch....
I am only a small trader, but my experience has been that the value of a
patch is directly influenced [ degraded ] by frequent, inconsequential
changes. One council I was in for a time changed their CSP every year or
two. The older patches, which had served to ID the council for about 7 or
8 years held their value while the newer ones virtually were ignored when
offered in trade for just about anything.
Another thing effecting the value of a patch is if it represents an actual
event or award. "Make-up" patches don't carry much.
