Philmont Lottery

I received a letter from Philmont on Tuesday saying my troop's request
for 1995 couldn't be filled either. We are number 330 on the waiting
list. I called the council Field Exec that night and learned that the
council did get their crews. I told all our boys interested in Philmont
to sign up with the council ASAP since I don't expect our troop will get
a slot. I was requesting 5 dates in June and the council asked for dates
in August. Philmont never told us the details of the lottery. They did
invite to try again next year for 1996. :<
