Re: Are you 18-30ish???????????

I've been asked to ppass on some detais of "Witan", a camp organised by and for
Scouts and Guides in the 18-30 ish age group. This camp has a long tradition,
going back to the ate 1940's, and is helld every 2 years "somewhere in Europe"
. This year it is being run by some Swiss Scouts, not far from Kandersteg (Inte
rnationa Scout Centre) and Our Chaet (World Guide House).
The camp is in the last 2 weeks of July, and will incude international events,
activities, visits etc. The idea is that participants attend as individuals, or
with 1 or 2 friends, and that by mixing peope ininternationa patrols you get t
o really understand and know each other. The camp will be about 50 people, and
will include Brits, Swiss, canadian, Danish, Austrailian and German Scouts. The
re are aso funds avaiabe for Scouts from the former Eastern Block to attend.
I can't give firmer details on dates or cost today - I'll post them early
next week. If you are, or know anyone who might be interested, mail to me direc
tly, and I'll get back to you.
Appologies for the spelling - this keyboard has an aversion to lls - it either
prints two or none. And they claim this dept. is at the cutting edge of technol
ogy. Ha!!!!
Yours in Scouting,
Rachell
