Here at Troop 217, Kalamazoo MI the yearly dues are $25 for the first
boy and $15 for each additional boy or adult. This covers reg. boys
life (first boy only), a T-shirt, and for new boys their first Boy Scout
Handbook (for adults they get either a scoutmaster's handbook or a troop
guide book). Additionally, we have a fund raiser in Feb. (Spaghetti
Supper) which 50% of the pre-sales goes into the boys account.
The activities cost $6 which covers food only. Any remaining amount is
covered out of the general fund. In August we do a high adventure
activity which does cost more.
Summer camp costs $99 per boy ($45 per adult). Most boys covered about
half of that with spaghetti summer sales.
We currently have 20 boys and about 15 adults in the troop.
