Rex,
(sorry if another file got through, the Vax appears to have sent my reply
before giving me a change to type it.)
I knew a long time LDS scoutsmaster in L.A. He was there because they
simply could not get him out. If they tried giving him another assignment,
he would do it, but he kept right on doing scouting. Since he was good and
the Church leadership realized they could not keep him away from scouting,
they gave it back to him. Via the district, (commissioner or ????) you can
stay registered. As a parent, you have every right to participate with the
scout troop. Do it, not just outings, but troop meetings and other
activities. DO NOT MISS OUT IN THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO SCOUTING WITH YOUR
SON JUST BECAUSE THE BISHOP IS PLAYING SILLY POWER GAMES.
