Dear brother and sister scouts,
my name is Ralf Bell. I'm a 27 years old graduate chemist at Duesseldorf
university. This is one of my first actions on Internet, so please forgive
me any trespasses against the nediquette.
I am troop leader in group "Orion" of the German "Bund der Pfadfinderinnen
und Pfadfinder" (Guide and Scout Union). As far as I've seen yet, most of
you are in the BSA, so I can assure you, that scouting in my country is in
some aspects very different and may seem strange to you. What counts is
the spirit!
My group has about 50 members alltogether in all three branches. Preparations
for summer camp in Sweden are aproaching their climax. (Is there anybody from
Sweden reading this?)
I am also regional counselor of FALAB. FALAB is where groups who want to
travel a certain region in Germany can get adresses and information about
that area.
Beside scouting I have hobbies like mountain-biking, Koelsch Rock, reading,
computers and writing letters to friends all over the world.
Now I'm looking forward to some interesting discussions and idea-exchanging
over this fascinating new media.
Happy Easter to all of you and Gut Pfad!
Rabe
