I was just working our booth at a hunting & fishing expo and had a discussion
with the people in the next booth, the New York State Head Injury Association.
They asked if I or the boys knew that as of June 1, 1994 all children under
the age of 15 MUST wear a bicycle helmet when riding. I guess I knew but kinda
forgot (my kids are older) As of June 1, 1994 its the law in New York. A $50
fine if caught.
Anyway, I was given some literature to share with my troop and I certainly
will do so. I mentioned this list and said I would post it to not just New
Yorkers, but the world! Its a good message and one that we should follow.
Unfortunately I know the devastating affects that a fall from a bike can cause.
Anyone needing more info or wanting some literature to share with their
troops, please call or write to:

Thanks.
