The bookkeeping duties we assigned when the Scout first started. This
gave him a chance to know the den. As he became comfortable in his
duties and interested in taking on more duties, the three of us (Den
Leader, Asst. and Den Chief) discussed and agreed on new duties. This
was mostly games (first running then planning), but also so included a
ceremony for the pack and other things.
Each Den Chief, like each boy in your den, is different. His skills,
interests and time will depend on the Den Chief involved.
