S>My merory is that Camp Tuckahoe (York-Adams Council) is reasonably
close.
S>Does anyone have any other suggestions about where the troop can camp?

Hi Bruce!

Your memory hasn't failed you. York-Adams Area Council's Camp Tuckahoe is
a short trip north on US15 in Dillsburg. Also in Dillsburg is Camp Pioneer
which is owned by the friends of Troop 196. I don't know what they charge for
the use of Pioneer, but I know we have rented it to Girl Scouts, Cubs and
other youth groups. It includes a cabin with fireplace, running water and
electricity. There is also an adirondack shelter and plenty of space for
tents. Camp Pioneer is located a short distance to the west of Tuckahoe. If
you are interested, I'll get you the phone number of the committee member that
books the camp.

Yours in Scouting,

Dave Hultberg, ASM Troop 196, and a good Bobwhite too, NE-VI-34
