This is a new program I understand that is called Aaronic Priesthood
Scouting and is used in areas where access to the local Scouting
organization is not available. You cannot earn Boy Scout awards with
this program.

I talked to the National Council LDS Relationships Office and they
gave myself this information. The program is brandnew and they have
not yet received any detailed information on it.

The LDS church does have some connections with scout organizations in
Europe and the rest of the world and have been working with the World
Scout Organization for the past year on it, but I understand that it
is a slow process, since scout associations in other parts of the
world do not have the same concept of partnership that the Boy Scouts
of America has.
