Blazer Scouts

To Kathie Cerveny

Kathie
I am not trying to seperate the Blazer leaders, I am trying to get them with
the traditional Scouters. However, I don't have a good understanding of the
Blazer program. I understand that the kids in this program are the 11 year
old kids, and in the traditional program these kids would be in the Scout
troop in the new boy patrol. But I don't know if they consider themselves
Scouts or Webelos, or something completely different. Do the Blazer leaders
normally attend the Webelos section of the Cub Scout Roundtable or do they
attend the Boy Scout Roundtable, or do they want something that is
completely devoted to Blazer Scouting.

In the past the LDS have supplied their own commissioners, but the Stake
President has request that in the new alinement, that the commissioners be
mixed up where some of the traditional commissioners will service some of
their units and some of the LDS commissioners will service some of the
traditional units, so we are looking forward to it as being a positive
experience for all of us.
