see what it tells us.

I'm sure that BofA didn't just have a political change of heart, and that
the $$ impact was the reason for the change of heart. (Although there were
stories that the original decision to pull funds was made by a lower level
VP and the Pres. of BofA over-rode the decision ??).
All this to say, I suspect a similiar $$ impact was had on Levi's.
I completely agree that the change almost certainly had nothing to do
with a political change of heart, and even that there's a lot of
reason to believe there could have been some financial impact.
That said, I think that there's also plenty of room for reasonable
doubt about whether any financial suffering was real or just feared --
as some people were turned away by BofA's policy, others I'm sure were
attracted by it -- and certainly about whether Levi's experience was
the same as BofA.
