Aside from trying to look Good in the eyes of "those at home" (SF), Levi's
is now finding a use for the $$ they took away from BSA two years ago. I
suppose they are realizing the image damage they caused by dropping their
BSA contributions, and the loss in sales from the BSA folks going to
Wrangler instead of Levi Jeans for the preferred pants.
Does anyone have any numbers on this? What has happened to Levi's
business recently? My impression is that their funding decision is
popular with more people than it is unpopular with.
