Day Camp, Texas Frontier Days, need ideas

I have "volunteered" to be Program Director for our local Day Camp.
If anyone has any good crafts, games, outdoor activities, etc that
would fit our theme I would like to hear about them. Our theme is
Texas Frontier Days. We have some things already planned, but maybe
net.wisdom can provide us with some proven sucessfull ideas.
Also, I just returned from the three day National Day Camp school. I
had a good time and learned much. To bad all Cub Scout Den Leaders
could not attend (and find time to do so ;-) such training. Enough
for now....I better get back to earning the old paycheck....
