Introducing myself

Alan Jones (alan@SAWASDI.APANA.ORG.AU)

G'day Folks,

As per the instruction sheet that come with getting Scouts-L I will give a
brief bio file about myself.

I am a 35 year Assistant Cub Scout Leader from Adelaide in South Australia
(nowhere near the recent terrible fires in NSW), I have been actively
involved now in Scouting for 22 years or there abouts, with last year earning
a Medal of Merit for "extra special good service". I am very heavily involved
with Gang Shows, this year performing on stage in two productions.

I am very interested in getting my Cub Scouts to communicate with Cub Scouts
in other countries, so if you are interested let me know! I am also very keen
to make JOTA this year very big on the Nets, I would enjoy nothing more than
on the third weekend of October this year spending 60 hours tied to my chair
answering mail (One VERY BIG HINT here).

For those who have met me before might remember i was getting married, this
has now happened, and Sarah (much to my amazement) has taken the computer bug
as bad as I have, to the point that she too has subscribed to scouts-l.

Interests and hobbies - Canoeing, Sailing, Abseiling (Rappelling), badge/patch
trading and collecting.

Well, that's about it. I know it's more than a page full, but I couldn't help
myself. I have had two reply's from people who already read this, could you
please re-post or reply again, I lost an awful lot of stuff in a system crash
the other week.

TTFN
