In your message of 25 Jan 1994 at 2212 MST, you write:

Joe,

In reference to your question, at the Eagle Board of Review, I always
remind the new Eagle Scout that it takes approximately 6 - 8 weeks for
the application to council, then national and back again. Of course
this is the maximun amount of time it should take. I have seen them
get notification back from council in as little as 5 weeks.

You shouldn't schedule an Eagle Court of Honor less then 6 weeks after
the board of review, just to be on the safe side.

As far as invitations go, need to plan enough ahead of the Court of
Honor so that you can get replies back, for invitations sent to your
governor, congressman, senators, or the President.

The Eagle-Tips in the Scouts-L archives should have some information,
plus your district or advancement people may have a more spelled
out timetable.

Let me know, if you need more information.
