The method reccomended by Thermorest is to partially inflate the mattress,
close the valve, soak the surface with soapy water and fold the matress
then kneel on it to force air out. You should see soap bubbles form at the
leak. You might have to refold it so that different surfaces are visible
while looking for the leak.
