Hi Everyone, I'm Charlie Perry, but in Scouting circles I'm known as
Moose. I'm nineteen and am a freshman at Loras College in Dubuque, IA.
I was active in my home troop 508 of Sagamore Council (Kokomo, Indiana)
for six years as a youth and later as an ASM. I've been on Sagamore
Council's Summer Camp staff for five years and will be returning again
this year as an Asst. Aquatics Director. I love to plan campfires, and
lead songs and skits. A couple of years ago I compiled most of the songs,
skits, and run-ons that I've heard into a songbook for the camp. This
summer I hope to go to Philmont to work on the Trail Crew, but I haven't
gotten word back on whether I've been accepted. I was going to join Alpha
Phi Omega, but decided better of it and so currently I looking for a troop
here in Dubuque that I can help out with. Other than Scouts, my hobby is
backpacking. I've done several trails, mostly in the spring, summer, and
fall. This cold weather we've been having lately is enough to freeze polar
bears.
