What whimps! We still had our local klondikes near BUFFALO!
Our troop also will be going to a real CANADAIN Klondike in FEB,
plus we may go to ICE camp on Kueka lake, hosted by Allegheny Highlands
council.
We often HOST and visit other troops. We have close ties to a troop
from Montreal that we will visit, and camp with this summer. ALso
some troops in Ontario, plus one near Darian Lake, plus a couple in
less well off neighborhoods arround Buffalo.
We could always use a partner troop to host us for a trip to see the
State Capital, and maybe Cooperstown. You guys could come see us,
and visit Niagara Falls, etc. We have a nice camp about 15 minutes,
from the Falls, and have hosted other visitors. There is also a
Western NY Trail medal program, which includes both CAR and foot
trails from Ft Niagara on Lake Ontario, to Buffalo Naval and Service
park on Lake Erie (both on the RIVER). You could even consider
taking the train, which we used to go to Boston one time!
