High Adventure in Wisconsin

Thought I'd post info from the latest camp flier we got, it's sure to be warmer
by camp time!
Only -25 this morning. Haugen is located about 60 mile north of Eau Claire if y
ou look for it
on a map, 10 miles north of Rice Lake. Camp Phillips is one of the premire camp
s in the US, and
where our Pack is headed this weekend. Temps are supposed to be in the 30's!

Phillips Scout Reservation & the Chippewa Valley Council presents
PHILLIPS HIGH ADVENTURE BASE

The Phillips High Adventure Base is the Nationally Accredited High Adventure is
in the State of
Wisconsin. We sent sent trips into Canada, the Boundry Waters Canoe Area, Natio
nal Forests and
on to Lake Superior. We provide guides, food and the best possible equipment.
Our programs
offer Adventure Merit Badges, such as, Whitewater canoeing. We help your unit f
unction in the
patrol method both in camp during all trip instruction and preparation and on th
e trip for all
food preperation and camp chores.

We are committed to offering you and your unit the best equipment and most servi
ce for your
money. We want each unit to feel that every trip is designed with you in mind.
We have many
combination Adventures and offer opportunities for units to split up their numbe
rs with half
staying at Camp Phillips, Boy Scout Camp and the other half going on High Advent
ure activities.
Each unit must register sepretly for the High Adventure Base, the following is t
he base prices
for our Adventures. If your Adventure is not quite listed the way you want it,
please call
and we will outfit to your specification.

High Adventure Program
In Camp Programs
Canoeing $15.00 per day
Whitewater $20.00 per day
Water-skiing $20.00 per day
Motor Boating $20.00 per day
Rock Climbing $25.00 per day

All other trips planned outside normal camp program
Under 100 miles (one way) $30.00 per day
Over 100 miles (one way) $35.00 per day
