Family at Philmont

My husband (Steve) has also been invited to Philmont, and we are planning
to go as a family. Steve (the Charter Org Rep for both our troop and pack)
will be attending the United Methodist/Scouting Conference.
I will be attending as a spouse, but would like to gain some scouting ideas
and information while I am there. At the same time, I want each of my sons
(one scout, one cub) to participate in their activities without 'Mother'
being there.
My Question: What types of activities will I be allowed to do? There must
be other families where both parents are involved in scouting, - does the
'spouse' have any other options?
