Re: compiling camping info. AAA does have camping guides as well as
the tour books. Not all places are listed. For Florida, we also use
a DeLorme gazetteer, and the Florida State Parks Guide. This covers
most camping in Fla. Many states have some sort of info from their
Dept. of Natural Resources, Fish and Game or whatever their outdoor
organization is called. Gazetteers usually have all the smaller
county roads to help you GET to the place you choose. My AAA maps
are great for inter-state travel, but for boonie-hopping they're
not so hot. Hope this helps
