Welcome to the list Carl. I'm a third generation American, but my father's
side of the family was Swedish. My grandmother and grandfather both spoke
Swedish, but refused to teach it to their children since "We are Americans
now". As a result I only know a few scattered words and phrases of Swedish.

I am an Assistant Scoutmaster with a troop of Boy Scouts in central
Pennsylvania. Our Scouts can be anyhere from 10.5 to 17 years old. At
18 they are officially adults. We also have Tiger Cubs for boys in first
grade or 6 and Cubs for boys 7-10. We also have the separate Explorer program
older boys and girls as well as Venture Crews and Varsity Teams within
troops.
