Discussions about homosexuality have hit the same level as discussions
about abortion--there are two positions at the far ends of the scale and
neither end will recognize a middle ground ("if you aren't fully one of us,
then you are the enemy"). Unfortunately, these are the views that get the
publicity and the majority of people in the middle are ignored. I place
myself in the middle with you.

No apology necessary. This is exactly my point--let the changes come from
within the organization from those who work with the program. The BSA should
evolve based on the work of the volunteers and professionals IN the BSA, not
change because some outside group gets a court order that says "You MUST
change to think our way or we will shut you down."
