What got the Boy Scouts into trouble before (1985 -- during
Jamboree) was that they equated the terms "God" and "Supreme Being".
God can be defined as needed but there still needs to be a "reverent"
belief in "God".
God does not mean supreme Being and Supreme Being does not mean God!
I do not know the Budist religion nor many others. However i believe
there is a Religious Awards Program for Budist. (I don't have my list
here to confirm at this minute) ... Therefore, I am having trouble
with the recent posts.
God (No matter How an individual defines it) should not be taken out
of Scouting!
