Bandwidth Issues

Bandwidth Issues
In the interest of those with limited bandwidth, I've modified my sig file to
include the following basic information I feel necessary to reduce bandwidth.

In defense of any postings which may have been interpreted by some as
'pluffing my chest'....in some sense you're correct. I'm very proud of the
program we in our Pack have put together. However, there is no 'pluffing'
here! I do it for one purpose and one purpose only....to demonstrate that
when applying the principles of Scouting, utilizing the resources available,
and following the examples of literally hundreds of other Scouters you can
overcome the problems and have one heck of a GREAT program.

Three years ago I started a Pack...Me and 5 other adults. (I know you think
that's really great!) Situation being, we didn't know squat about the Cub
program; training wasn't going to be held until fall (this was June) and
roundtable was a month away! We had to pull together everything to get our
first group of kids to camp, and start putting together a half-way decent
program. Fortunately, I found SCOUTER on a BBS and started reading about how
others had successful programs. I had no idea what questions to ask, and I
felt STUPID asking - How do you put together a Cub Scout Pack. Bottom line,
a number of these PUFFY people who posted these PUFFY messages gave me
examples of how the program should work, and provided me with the basic
information so I could ask questions! As such, thanks to those, and many of
the people on this list we continue to improve our program and as such, bring
Cub Scouting to more boys.

In conclusion, I apologize that I may bother you with my PUFFY message. You
have a delete key...try pressing it whenever you see my messages. That way
you'll not be exposed to a program that is working.

In Scouting . . .
