Re: That ASM you could have really used in your Chapter. If the
Scoutmaster is by-passing the process, then you can obviously invalidate
his nomination (or I should say, the youth leaders can invalidate his
nomination). Then get the district to recommend the ASM (It seems to me
that a nomination does not necessarily have to for a district person from
the district). If that ASM can really be an asset, do not wait for that
one adult per unit rule keep him out. My experience is that many units
never even fill this quota of one per year. THe new adult election rules
are there (as I understand them) to get people in who will help, and
by-pase those who just want a feather in their hat.
