Signature Files

Dear All:

I read this disscussion group everyday with the "packing" option on. Unfortuna
tely lately, the files have been getting rather large. The University of Conne
citcut only gives me 576k of disk space to play with, and unfortunately, this
listing's file is getting larger lately. I was wondering if people who use sig
nature files could please stop using them.

As a whole, they are really unessacary and only add to the traffic on this diss
cussion (and take up precious disk space). And if people send more than one me
ssage per day, I often see the same signature file (the last 10-15 lines of a m
essage) three or four times.
