What a pile of dung. If your troop leaders are flauting their wives, girl
friends, or mistresses at troop activities so that your Scouts are learning
their sexuality there, you all need to be tossed out of the BSA. Just as
I doubt that you would do that, nether would gay leaders. They would not be
there to recruit new gays, that's not how you become gay. Handled properly,
no one would know a leader was gay unless they asked. Sexual behavior or
promiscuity is inappropriate at troop activities no matter whether you are
straight or gay. If you are concerned about the safety of the children from
gays, again you are off base. Most pedophiles are heterosexuals, not
homosexuals. That's why we have YPP and 2 deep leadership, to protect them
from the (predominantly heterosexual) child molestors. But that doesn't seem
to matter, you sound more interested that everyone share your view of
'traditional' values.

You don't prepare them for the world by hiding it from them. I am more
concerned with you teaching them your narrow mindedness. That will leave
them more damaged and less prepared to face the world than meeting a
gay person. Gays are not the danger here, irrational hate and bigotry are.
