Re: FIRST CLASS, FIRST YEAR, VENTU

Loche,

A very good question!!! I also would like to see a chart
of how some one thinks that ALL the piece FIT so nice!

Righ now, I think BSA has many program FRAGMENTS and they
may not ALL fit togther to make a single coherent picture!

I think it may be up to a CUB master or scout master and each
unit COMMITTEE and/or COR to create a picture that FITS your
individual situation. While some will claim that such PICKING
or CHOOSING only parts of the program, will contribute to
program failures such as are alredy discussed. However, I have
yet to see any one CUB pack or scout troop that is using 100 percent
of every thing that is available to scouts today. WHO COULD afford it?

I guess that is the REAL challenge of leadership in scouting today!
To get your local program together within the polcies and
guidlines of BSA, so that it WORKS in your local situation,
and fits into the rest of the related program pieces as best
as you can make it, within your local budget etc.

don I,
still scouting since '57
