Joan points out that MOUNTAIN climbing is NOT the "stuff" of
every day scouting, and neither is SCUBA, but it is part of the
"potential" programs at places like Philmont and the Florida
sea base, etc.
It made me kind of think that 'we' on this list might be able
to contribute a fairly substantial LIST of NOT every day scouting
events. Some examples, other than the previous Mountain Climbing
and SCUBA, . . . . ?
Water Skiing, Snow skiing, White water rafting,
sailing, deep sea fishing, ICE fishing,
wreef diving, rapelling, cave exploration . . .
Over night camps at Air force base, or aboard NAVY Air Craft cariers etc.
OTHERS?
Of course, Excluding prohibited stuff like bungie jumping etc.
