COPE is challenging outdoor physical exercise (entertainment) or something
like this. It is a several hour activity where there are challenging
physical activities some of which are loads of fun and others quite
challenging. The idea is to force the group to function together to
accomplish all the tasks and thus learn about functioning as a group.
With all that high fallutin' words behind us, it is a great fun thing
and even some of our laziest scouts got a lot out of it.
