Jim, In my Webelos Den to help the Cubs earn their Whittling Chip, I made
a pen knife out of balsa wood (not fancy but bright red, with a silver blade)
and had each boy act out an unsafe activity (like driving a nail with a knife
or carrying a knife with the blade open), and had the other Cubs tell us
what the actor was doing wrong...sort of a "skit on the fly"
