James, you make a good point, but it isn't always easy. If I reply, our
mailer strips off all the needed information to repy directly. I have
found that if I forward the message, all the information is included. I
then have to edit the header my self, but all the information is still
there.
On a related point, I like quoted text in the replies as long as it's
kept short. It helps me get in context. Some software likes to quote
the entire message after the original. [soap box mode on] I feel this
is totally useless. I don't need to see the entire old message, and
I've already figured out the context by the time I find the old message.

Jon, I hope I'm not interfering with your duties, but I wanted to add a
how-to message to Jame's message. Then, I slipped into soap box mode.
