A humorous take on "A Scout is Trustworthy"
One night after a troop meeting I was riding home with my son who was
psyched about advancing to his next rank. He read the requirement of
having to hold a troop office and wanted to know what counted, I
suggested he "look it up."
He found it and began reading the allowed positions to me: SPL, ASPL,
PL, Scribe, historian, Burglar.......
I asked if maybe in fact it was buglar as I knew we hadn't had a troop
burglar since I had been active. We laughed about a new series of
breakins in our town targeting tents and coleman lanterns etc.....
