Paramilitary Ranks

Okay guys, thanks for your help.

Here are the basic company level ranks/positions for a late 18th Century
infantry unit in Virginia (they copied the British):

1 Captain
1 Captain-Lieutenant (rare)
1 Lieutenant
1 Ensign

1 Senior Sergeant
2 Sergeant
1 Senior Corporal
2 Corporal
Private Soldiers

Regimental structure would include:

1 Colonel
1 Lieutenant Colonel
1 Major

Adjutant, Quartermaster, Paymaster, Surgeon, etc.

Any recommendations on what to call the adults and what to call thhe youth?
How about committee members?
