Re: Exploring/Venturing/Ships units near Biloxi MS

Shawn, call Wayne Orechwa (ORE-a-kwa) at 504-892-8847), EA for Post 110, or
Denny Otillio (504-626-4215), EA of Post 111, in Covington and Mandeville,
respectively, Louisiana. They're about an hour - 90 minutes from Keesler;
it's my former district. Both have coed high adventure posts; Wayne is
also a Scoutmaster with a very active troop. Both are experienced Philmont
and Appalachain Trail trekkers and more.

Keesler is in the Pine Burr Area Council; HQ is Hattiesburg, about 90
minutes north of Gulfport, but I doubt they have an Exploring Executive
(EE). Mobile Area Council has one, but she is quite new. You could talk
with their new Assistant Scout Executive, Michael Stewart, my now-former
field director, who has experience working with EEs and is a very helpful
person. New Orleans Area Council (504-889-0388) has an experienced EE.
