Explorer/ Venture uniforms

In my previous post I certainly wasn't looking for pity about being stuck with
shirts. We don't wear the Explorer shirt but have green polo shirts for our
class A's and green activity t-shirts. The post just bought more of both of
these. We've already been discussing how to change them when the time comes.
The kids would rather use the new name than the old. We have a very active
post and the officers are pushing for everyone to but the shirts and try and
wear them out. Our post has very limited funds to buy things like shirts(the
kids then pay for them). We've been concentrating on buying more of the
equipment we need for high adventure outings. Our post has been and always
will be for the kids. We've gone from 5 to 22 in 2 years. The name change will
be confusing for the community as there is a large police Explorer post in
town. We plan to start geting the word out about the change when we have more
info on it. Our kids have done a good job of recruiting so far.
