Last weekend, I attended the Baden Powell
University seminars. For the first time since it was
organized, there were sessions about Exploring/Venturing/Sea
Scouting. All the sessions were very well attended and the
participants were extremely enthusiastic. The Callendra
husband/wife team from Chicago Area and Stan Drummer from
the Northeast Illinois Council were the
presenters/moderators.
One of the most useful hand-outs was a of
catalogue of BSA publications, materials, videotapes, and
miscellany available to all of us: Since I thought that list
was so useful, I have prepared the following one for

Now for the caveats: First, some of the items are out
of stock; second, some of the aforementioned items are
restricted; third; I am certain that I have omitted a few
items, and, fourth, since the Exploring Division will be
discontinued on 31 July 1998, many of the above items either
are now or shortly will be out of print.
Anyway, we will have to wait for announcements from
the BSA to see what will be available to us under the new
structure.
