re: EOA

Cam-
Good luck! I am in the beginning stages of EOA building here in the
Anthony Wayne Area Council.

The first thing I would say is get in touch with your Service team, and
as they work on troubled Posts' advisory staff, you work with the officers. My
post is almost totally run by the youth. (One of the reasons I am spending my
New Years eve sober, with 30 Explorers!)

Good youth leadership is as important as good adult leadership, but the
youth more often than not need more guidance and assistance than the Adult.

Another, especially if you don't have a Service team is to get with the
Exploring District Committee. These folks are the do-knows. THey know which
posts are damaged, flatering or failed.

Have you set up by-laws yet? (An important step, and good example).
Let me know if you have. Mine should be done this week, and I'd like to trade
you.

Tony
