Hey James!
Yes, I'm still here <g>. I thought you guys had forgotten about me. The EOA
patch is a temporary patch, not a badge of office. However, if you are the
Council EOA president, and your Scout Executive so chooses, you may sit on
your council executive board as one of two youth representatives, the other
being the Order of the Arrow lodge chief. This, however, varies from
council to council, and is at the Scout Executive's discresion. If you do
sit on the Executive Board, then you may be allowed to register in that
capacity as well (if over 18) and wear that badge of office and silver
loops as the EOA president. Some councils may let you slide and do this
even if you aren't 18-- but that isn't official policy. Hope this helps.
