Hi all
I thought i might tell you about what is required for a Bar-Be-Que or the
South Africans call a Brai(?)
I had some friends over at the weekend, it is now early spring and the days
are in the mid 20's (celsius). It is now BBQ season. The food we had
strated with entree's (US it is called starters), 2 dips, (mexican bean and
hot chili), 5 different varieties of cheeses. For the main course it was
BBQ'd steak, chops and sausages, (no meat patties) with potato salad (made
iwth sour cream), tomato, carrots, beetroot, mixed bean salad, pasta salad,
waldorf salad, corn kernals, lettuce, cucumber, and for those who were
really deparate people I did supply some Mayo, but it wasn't used. For
Desert it was Strawberry cheese cake and strawberries, plus English Toffee
Veinetta ice cream.
I almost forgot there was tomato sauce (ketchup) for the meat.
Drinks were a BYO affair.
Any body hungry??
