Ryan, Each local Boy Scout Council has a paid professional in charge of
Exploring in their council. You need to contact this individual and get an
"Exploring Packet" that has all of the forms and materials needed to start a
Post. Basically, you need at least 5 youths ages 14 - 20, an Adult Advisor, and
at least 3 more adults to serve as either/or asst. Advisors and post
committee (one will need to be your committee chairman.) In addition, you
will need a chartering organization (sponsor),probably your Volunteer Fire
Company, and someone to act as a Chartered Organizational representitive. The
BSA has a great video on how to set up a Post and what positions the youth
should assume.
Good Luck
