Advisor training

Hi! I'm new to this group, but I have a lot of questions....

My position is District training chairman, and am therefore responsible for
providing training for Explorers, since we don't yet have a separate
Explorer district. What kinds of local training have been the more
effective for Advisors? What other trainings are provided in your
districts? How about district trainings for the youth officers?

We don't yet have _any_ kind of support structure for our Explorer units
(service team, etc), but we're really working hard toward that goal. What
has been the most effective in service and support for your units? How
involved do you get in District level activities? Scouting for Food?
Scoutorama?

I appreciate any and all comments
