a few thoughts on older books...
We buy merit badge books from the kids for a dollar and it goes into the
troop library. scouts can check them out. The money goes in their points
fund for campouts, etc. we urge all the boys to get the bienniel scout
requirements book and check it out for any changes.
The down-side is not the accuracy of information but a plea from our exec
to use the scout store more often. Seems that if it can't pay it's way
it is gone.
