The past few camps that I have been to have had a section of the showers
for adult scouters and a section for scouts. One was as simple as a
shower curtian with hooks on each end!
In our troop we have a answer to S.S. (Stinky Scouts);
After a few days those boys who have not had a shower are given on by the
boys in the troop with a "Bucket Bragade" or they can if they choose to
take a shower with out any help!! Eleven year old boys are shy for the
most part. I have found that we have less home sickness and problems if
we tell the boys to take showers with swim trunks on and for some even a
T-shirt! The soap will clean the Boy and the Trunks and T-shirt too.
I do not think that Adult scouters should shower with the youth unless
you can help it.
